Product Data Sheet
STARKECHEM PIE
Pressure Injection Epoxy
Product Description
STARKECHEM PIE is a high-modulus, low-viscosity epoxy resin engineered for the injection into structural cracks within concrete. Its medium to low viscosity facilitates optimal penetration into fine cracks. Upon curing, STARKECHEM PIE demonstrates exceptional strength, thereby effectively reinstating the structural integrity of the concrete.
Features
- Insensitive to moisture
- Exceptional adhesion properties
- Extended working time
- Non-shrinking formulation
Typical Applications
- Injection of structural cracks in dry or damp concrete
- Restoration of strength in honeycombed or spalled concrete
- Re-bonding of delaminated concrete screeds, tiles, and plasters
- Sealing of non-movement joints in concrete
- Strong bonding capability with steel, ceramic, masonry, concrete, and wood materials
Application Guidelines
Adequate surface preparation is essential for the successful application of any epoxy resin system. The concrete surfaces or cracked sidewalls to which this product is applied should be clean and either air-dried or appropriately treated with water to ensure optimal bonding. Repairs should be executed utilizing a suitable pressurized epoxy injection pump.
